I want adapt myself to the use of the palette knife. It’s great fun! There have been other points in my life when I’ve tried it, and I wasn’t satisfied with my work, but these last few times I’ve decided I can make it work! 6×6″ Acrylic on stretched canvas.

I haven’t got to do this since before Christmas. It’s nice to get back into Life Drawing again. It never get’s old. You never stop learning and improving!

I decided to do a bigger painting of this for “The Red Show” Exhibit. 9″x12″x1.5″ I used a Red underpainting for this one. I’ve been wanting to try this. I’m going to do it more often now.

Actually, it’s a Blood Orange. If you have never had one you have to try it, but quick before they go out of season! I love them. I had to paint that bloody orange, especially with sunlight passing through it! 5″x7″ Canvas Panel
