I painted the tree, the most challenging part of the painting. Painting the holes to shape the negitive space of the light coming through the trees is the final step of this part.

I love trees too. We live in the plains where there aren’t that many. I do miss them from when we lived Michigan. I plan to do more with trees though, I could “brush” up on them a bit. The back lit foreground trees like this one are the worst I think. I’m big on big sky clouds since we do have that! 😀
