I completed the Golden City part of the mural, although there are a few small adjustments to make. Now it’s onto the Angels, of which there are many. Mural 8.5’x 24′

Mural of Heaven (WIP03)
The mural is progressing. I’m working my way down so I don’t need the scaffold anymore. I probably need to adjust some of the buildings. I can’t always see what I’m doing when I’m right up there next to it.

I tested colors for the city of gold. I’ve been using Irrodecent Gold And Pearl mixed with appropriate colors.

Mural of Heaven WIP01
Today I started painting a mural of Heaven for St. Thomas More Parish in my hometown. It is 8.5’x 24′. The right half is shown above. I layed in the background across the top.
Study for Mural of Heaven WIP
This is a study for a mural of heaven, I’m painting for St. Thomas More Parish. The mural will be painted with acrylics 8.5’x 24.5′. The study is 8.5″x 24″. I will be posting more images as it progresses. I’m considering recording a time lapse of the mural being painted.
